Statistics on mortality in water bodies in Russia have become known.

In the past 24 hours alone, 21 people died.

This information was provided on the Russian Emergencies Ministry Telegram channel.

According to the agency, a total of 28 incidents on the water were recorded.

Unfortunately, most of them resulted in deaths, including three minors.

The first case was recorded at the Pulmanovsky quarry in the Leningrad region. An 8-year-old child was swimming in a place not equipped for this purpose and drowned. The body of the deceased was found by divers.

Another incident occurred in a place not equipped for swimming in the Tula region. Near the village of Rublevo-Medvensky, rescuers pulled out the body of a 14-year-old teenager.

There was also an incident reported on the Toshnya River in the Vologda Region, where a 19-year-old boy drowned. The body of the deceased was removed from the reservoir by specialists who arrived at the scene.

It is noted that most incidents are related to people swimming in places not intended for this purpose.
