The incident took place in Khasavyurt, Dagestan, the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region reported.
A 33-year-old Russian woman took a 21-year-old lover. During their next date, the cheater's husband returned home.
An argument ensued, during which the Russian woman and her friend began beating and strangling the man. As a result, the husband died. This happened on December 25 last year.
The Investigative Committee has completed its investigation of this case. During the work, a number of facts were revealed. For example, the perpetrators tried to conceal the fact of the crime.
They tried to make it look like the cheating woman's husband was killed by two unknown men.
The lover allegedly did not show up at his beloved's apartment that fateful night. After committing the crime, he disappeared, but was caught on surveillance camera.
Investigators reconstructed the events of that day and came to the conclusion that the wife and her lover had killed the man and then tried to put law enforcement officers on the wrong track.
The Russian woman and her boyfriend are currently in custody. They have been charged with a final crime.
