The Russian Ministry of Defense has released information that a Su-34 fighter jet crashed in the Volgograd region.

The Defense Ministry reports: “The Su-34 was carrying out a scheduled training flight,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, there was no threat to the lives of the aircraft crew members.

In addition, it is reported that the fighter crashed in an uninhabited area, and therefore no human casualties have been identified.
In particular, the Russian Ministry of Defense explains that the Su-34 was flying without combat equipment and without the appropriate configuration.
The Defense Ministry clarified: “It was not possible to establish any damage on the ground.”
It is preliminary explained that the cause of the emergency was a technical malfunction.
