A kindergarten teacher is suspected of causing the death of a 3-year-old boy in Nizhny Novgorod.
This was reported on Thursday, December 5, by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.
The woman was questioned as part of a criminal investigation.
She is suspected of violating professional duties.
During the walk, the kindergarten employee failed to constantly monitor the activities of her charges, the Investigative Committee reported.
Because of this, a 3-year-old pupil died when an element of clothing caught on a slide. The boy suffocated while playing on the playground.
Investigators asked to place the suspect under house arrest.
But it was decided to release the woman on bail.
Meanwhile, the investigation into this case continues.
The incident in the kindergarten in Nizhny Novgorod occurred last Monday, December 2.
