A female taxi driver suffered as a result of the actions of a minor passenger.
The incident was reported on the official website of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Omsk Region.
The 15-year-old local resident suspected of the attack has been detained and charged with attempted murder.
Circumstances of the case
The attack took place on the night of October 26-27. The attack became known when a woman with stab wounds was admitted to a local hospital.
As the investigation revealed, the victim was a taxi driver. She was giving a ride to a 15-year-old teenager who attacked her with a knife.
The woman managed to run out of the car and run to the nearest house to call for help. At that time, the attacker got into the car and stole it.
It is noted that the suspect has been on the police's preventive register since 2023. The teenager had previously been held accountable for theft and carjacking.
