New details have emerged about the mass poisoning that occurred near Omsk.
The number of victims of the intestinal infection contracted by vacationers at the Skazka sanatorium has risen to 35 people.
This was reported by TASS , which spoke with Larisa Boldinova, a representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.

She clarified that the department had previously known about 27 victims as a result of the incident.
However, updated information was received, which revealed that 35 people had already been poisoned.
Circumstances of mass poisoning
It is noted that the first cases of poisoning in the sanatorium were identified on December 18. 15 vacationers in the Skazka sanatorium were hospitalized, another 20 people with symptoms of intestinal infection were sent for outpatient treatment.
Norovirus was also detected in five employees of the institution.
As Rospotrebnadzor specialists found out after studying the sanitary conditions in the Skazki restaurant, serious violations of the standards were committed.
