Doctors at a hospital in Volgodonsk are involved in a case of criminal negligence that resulted in the death of a patient.
Circumstances of the case
According to investigators, the incident occurred in August 2022.
An 11-year-old girl with an infectious disease was taken to a hospital in Volgodonsk.
It is noted that the accused employees of the medical institution performed their duties to treat the patient improperly, which ultimately resulted in the death of the minor.
Due to an incorrectly chosen treatment regimen, the girl’s condition gradually worsened, and the patient developed acute heart failure.
The criminal case has been approved and sent to court for subsequent consideration on the merits.
