In Yakutia, there was an accident involving a minibus and a truck.
Two vehicles collided, resulting in casualties among passengers.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations press service reported the incident on its Telegram channel.
According to the department, the accident occurred 30 kilometers from the city of Tommot, located in the Aldan region of Yakutia.
As experts specified, the incident occurred due to the fault of the driver of the Toyota Hiace minibus. There was a Skania truck on the side of the road, with which the minibus collided.
The incident resulted in one person dying on the spot. In total, 10 people were injured in the accident, including four children.
9 victims were hospitalized in the city of Aldan.
It is noted that the condition of five victims is assessed as serious, they are in intensive care. One person is in critical condition, doctors are fighting for his life.
The cause of the incident is still unknown; an investigative task force from the regional Investigative Committee and prosecutors are working at the scene.
