In Novy Afon, Gagra, Pitsunda and part of the city of Sukhum, people were left without electricity due to an accident. RIA Novosti reports details with reference to the company "Chernomorenergo".
It is noted that metal fatigue led to complications at the accident site in the Ochamchira district. There, the crossbars on the high-voltage line support were damaged.
According to the press service, specialists will deliver the necessary materials from Sukhumi.
The head of the RUE "Abkhaz Railway" Arsou Chitanava noted that the lack of electricity for more than an hour led to the delay of trains. They arrived at the station with a delay.
He also noted that the trains were pulled with the help of diesel locomotives.
According to Chernomorenergo, the unpleasant consequences will be eliminated within a few hours.
