To remove a stain from clothing, the treatment must be carried out from the inside of the item, after wetting the area with water, moving from the end of the contaminated area to the center.

1. Try using regular laundry soap (brown). Wet the stain with warm water, rub well with soap, rub, then rinse.

2. Table vinegar diluted in water works well on fresh stains.

3. Another surefire way: use a sorbent. Salt, talc, starch, crushed chalk will do. After a few minutes, brush off the absorbent that has absorbed the fat, repeat if necessary. This method is only suitable for removing fresh stains.

4. Any detergent can dissolve organic fats. The contaminated area should be moistened, then apply a few drops of the detergent, rub until foam forms and leave for a while. You can add a little baking soda to the dishwashing gel. Then wash the items as usual.

5. Place several paper napkins on top and under the greasy area and iron, changing the napkins as the area becomes dirty from the absorbed fat.

6. A solution of table salt and ammonia (1:3). Treat the oily area with this mixture, wait 20 minutes and rinse with water.

7. Wipe the stain with a soft cloth soaked in glycerin, leave for 15-20 minutes, then wash the item.

8. To remove grease from light-colored fabrics, try using hydrogen peroxide, as well as a solution of ammonia (2 tablespoons per 100 ml of water).

9. The above tips will come in handy for removing greasy stains from thick materials. If the item is made of light silk, wash the garment in shampoo for oily hair. Another method for delicate fabrics.

Wipe the required area with a prepared mixture of ammonia, glycerin and warm water, taken in equal quantities, leave for 15-20 minutes, then wash.

10. To remove an old greasy stain, use radical means. Wipe the dirty area with a rag soaked in purified turpentine or gasoline, then wash the item as usual.

Stains on leather goods

1. To remove greasy shine from smooth leather, use a water solution of baking soda (1 teaspoon per 200 ml of water). Wipe the stain with a soft cloth soaked in the solution until foam forms. Repeat the procedure if necessary.

2. To remove a greasy shine from a leather item, use a solution of one teaspoon of milk or water, a teaspoon of ammonia, and a teaspoon of shavings from any soap.

3. Talc-based method. Mix talc with gasoline until it reaches the consistency of thick sour cream, apply to the stain, wait 1.5-3 hours. During this time, the composition will absorb the fat, the remains should be brushed off, then the area is wiped with a damp sponge.

4. For stubborn greasy stains, use a solution of a tablespoon of 5% ammonia solution, a tablespoon of soap shavings, and 100 ml of formalin. Mix everything, apply to the greasy area, leave for 2 hours, and wipe with a clean damp cloth.

5. Also use a separate solution of ammonia, purified gasoline, turpentine, or acetone.

One method does not always help, sometimes you need to try several, sometimes alternate.
