Products made from natural fur are not a cheap pleasure, and therefore we want them to last as long as possible.
And if you notice moth marks on your favorite fur coat or walk in it in the rain, this is not a reason to get rid of the item.
How to revive a fur coat
Let's start with the fact that the complex of resuscitation measures is determined by the nature of the injuries.

If we are talking about a moth, the first thing to do is to get rid of the pest and its eggs. To do this, the item needs to be washed at a temperature above 50 degrees or put in the freezer for a day: the insect is afraid of both high and low temperatures.
If the collar has become frayed after the moth's activity, then the bald spot can be hidden behind a large brooch. And the ends of the sleeves can be cut off, making a fur coat with a fashionable three-quarter sleeve from the product.
If you get your fur coat wet in the rain, the first thing you need to do is dry it properly.
Heat treatment is prohibited, as it will kill the fur. Wards should be removed with alcohol, and the product itself should be left in a warm and dry room for a day.
