Many housewives do not think about how often they need to wash bed linen.
It turns out that dirty sheets and pillowcases can cause not only unpleasant odor, but also skin problems.
You can avoid problems if you follow simple rules.

Pillowcases
Pillowcases should be washed at least once or twice a week if you have allergies or acne problems.
Over time, dirt and sweat accumulate on the surface, and this can lead to rashes appearing on the skin.
Sheets
It is recommended to wash sheets at least once a week at a temperature of at least 60 °C.
Washing at a lower temperature may remove dirt, but not bacteria and germs.
You should also check the condition of your sheets from time to time.
Depending on how often you use it and the quality, your sheets can last anywhere from one year to five years or more.
Blanket
As a rule, it is enough to wash the blanket twice a year.
The rest of the year, you can occasionally throw them in the dryer or air dry them outside in warm weather.
When washing a blanket, it is important to dry it quickly. If it retains moisture for too long, an unpleasant odor may develop.
If the blanket is not completely dry before reusing, there is a risk that it will become moldy.
