The first taboo is any cleaning products containing abrasive particles. These include various powders and pastes, which at first glance may seem harmless.
However, in reality, they may contain solid particles that will damage the smooth surface of the plastic.
The same applies to brushes and metal sponges. Instead, it is better to use a microfiber cloth to clean the surface.
Chemical solvents and aggressive household chemicals are also contraindicated for cleaning plastic. They corrode the material, leave stains on it and can deform it.
Moreover, even a steam cleaner and hot water can deform a plastic window, so it is strictly not recommended to use them.
