A walk in the forest does not always go smoothly and without consequences.
In the Moscow Region, the number of people lost in June was 67. The Moscow Agency reports details with reference to the press service of the Moscow Region Forestry Committee with reference to the chairman of the committee, Yevgeny Agulov.
It is noted that rescuers received a signal asking for help from relatives or the people themselves.
According to Agulov, all people were able to safely get out of the forest and return home.
He noted that some citizens did not take their mobile phones with them or their gadgets ran out of battery at the most inopportune time.
According to the press service, one of the previously lost people was a 5-year-old child. He ran away into the forest. Also running away were children aged 10 and 6 in Podolsk. They were safely found.
It was also noted that the total number of people lost in the forests of the Moscow region since the beginning of 2024 was 105 people.
