The defendant in the case of bribery during the execution of a state defense order for the construction of a military clinic in St. Petersburg owes more than 2 billion rubles.

The debt was incurred due to the failure to fulfill obligations under the contract for the construction and reconstruction of buildings in the military town of the International Mine Action Center of the Russian Armed Forces.

This became known during the investigation in Moscow of a criminal case against three former employees of one of the companies for receiving a bribe, RIA Novosti writes.
