On the night of Monday, October 7, Moscow will be hit by heavy rains and thunderstorms.
According to forecasts, the capital may receive up to 20 millimetres of precipitation.
This was reported to RIA Novosti by leading specialist of the Phobos weather center, Evgeny Tishkovets.

Up to 20 millimetres of rain is expected to fall in Moscow on Monday night due to a warm front and wind.
The probability of thunderstorms is also high, which is extremely rare for October. This phenomenon occurs only once every three to four years.
The air temperature at this time will be between plus eight and plus eleven degrees.
On Monday afternoon the temperature will rise to 15-18 degrees.
Rainfall will continue, but with less intensity than on Monday.
Tishkovets warned that from Sunday evening to Monday evening, up to 29 millimeters of precipitation could fall in Moscow – 41% of the entire monthly norm.
