The incident occurred at the end of last summer. The scene was Kronstadt Boulevard.
It is noted that at the specified location, a drunk driver, driving a car, hit a child who was crossing the road in a permitted place.
According to the department, the boy received serious injuries and died soon after. The driver did not help the boy and fled the scene of the accident.
They also noted that the driver was detained. After some time, he was found guilty of the boy's death. The court sentenced him to 8 years in prison.
