In Moscow, a trial was held of two men who beat children in the courtyard of a house.
Details were reported on the Telegram channel of the capital's prosecutor's office.
While intoxicated, 60-year-old Alexander G. caught a 10-year-old neighbor boy and held a knife to his face.
“Choose which eye, left or right?” the man asked the child at that moment.
His 38-year-old drinking buddy joined in the abuse of the minor.
The investigation established that adult men beat children aged 9–12. They hit them with a stick, humiliated them, and made them kneel.
All this happened on November 19 last year on Bazovskaya Street.
The court found them guilty of hooliganism and causing grievous bodily harm.
The 60-year-old defendant received 4 years and 4 months in prison. His drinking buddy was given 3.5 years.
Both convicts will be sent to serve their sentences in a general regime penal colony, the Moscow prosecutor's office reported.
