Details of the attack by a passenger on a taxi driver have become known.

A man who refused to pay for a taxi service was detained by law enforcement officers.

This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk on her Telegram channel.

The suspect was quickly identified. He was a repeatedly convicted native of the Caucasus, born in 1994, who was handed over to the police.

A criminal case has been opened against the hooligan for fraud related to non-payment of fare. The court will soon decide what preventive measure to choose for the suspect.

Circumstances of the case

The incident with the beating of the taxi driver occurred on August 30. The driver took the client to the address he had indicated in the Moscow region.

Not wanting to pay for the ride, the detainee got out of the car and hit the taxi driver several times.

It is noted that due to the beatings, the 3-year-old taxi driver had to seek medical help.
