Doctors removed a teratoma tumor from a young girl, inside of which were cartilage and bones. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency with reference to the press service of the regional Ministry of Health and pediatric oncologist Vladimir Strykov.

It is noted that a girl was admitted to the Moscow Regional Oncology Dispensary.
According to Strykov, doctors discovered a tumor that could develop into cancer if surgery was not performed.
He noted that medical specialists had to remove the tumor. It weighed over 7 kg and consisted of cartilage, bones, and tissue.
It is added that the operation was successful. The patient is now feeling well. She has been discharged from the hospital.
