A woman involved in the death of her friend has been detained in Moscow. She will appear in court. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency, citing Yulia Ivanova, Senior Assistant to the Head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Moscow.
The scene of the incident was an apartment in a building located on Skhodnenskaya Street.
The investigation established that the woman rented a home at the location in question in 2010. In March of that year, she had a fight with the owner of the apartment, after which she decided to strangle her with a rope.
According to Ivanova, for many years the woman’s involvement could not be confirmed, but after some time the materials were re-examined by police officers and investigators.
She noted that the woman's testimony was refuted. Thanks to the evidence collected, the suspect was detained.
It is added that the criminal case has currently been sent to court.
