The founder of the Hydra drug empire and 15 of his accomplices received prison sentences.
A Moscow region court has sentenced Stanislav Moiseyev, who created the largest online platform for the sale of illegal substances in the Russian Federation, to life imprisonment.
This was reported on the Telegram channel of the press service of the Moscow Region Prosecutor's Office on Monday, December 2.

Moiseyev received a life sentence and a fine of 4 million rubles.
His accomplices were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 8 to 23 years. They will also pay fines totaling 16 million rubles.
Convicts will be sent to special and strict regime colonies.
All assets (cars, real estate) of the defendants were confiscated in favor of the state.
Hydra operated in Russia and Belarus from 2015 to 2018. The Internet was used to distribute illegal substances.
