Pregnant women began to receive a letter from the Patriarch of the Orthodox Church.

The head of the project "Hello, Mom!" Natalia Moskvitina told RIA Novosti this information.

It is noted that the first letters were received by pregnant women at the St. Alexis Church Hospital in Moscow.

The patriarch's message is meant to support expectant mothers at their most vulnerable moment - the beginning of pregnancy. In it, the leader blesses the expectant mother and her child, and encourages her.

Moskvitina noted that women who were pressured into having abortions in other medical institutions often appear at the hospital.

She also recalled that in many regions of Russia, administrative liability has already been adopted for inciting abortion.

In this regard, the project's activists remind women that human life begins at the moment of conception, and not at the birth of the baby.
