Investigators have opened a criminal case against a group of restorers who won Moscow auctions in exchange for kickbacks to officials.
The defendants in the case have been arrested or placed under house arrest.
TASS reports this, citing materials from the criminal case.

The investigation found that from March to November 2023, a group of individuals created conditions for winning auctions.
The defendants acted through the Gradient LLC, which they controlled.
They used kickbacks to obtain favorable conditions at auctions, which allowed them to win 10 government contracts for restoration work in Moscow.
The total amount of these contracts was 155.65 million rubles.
The delivery of goods worth at least 38 million rubles was carried out at a deliberately inflated price.
All persons involved in the case have been arrested or placed under house arrest.
The investigation is ongoing. New participants and details of the criminal scheme may be revealed.
