Zakharova emphasized: “We will carefully analyze all US actions and take our own measures,” as reported on the broadcast of the program “ Soloviev Live .”
As the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out, every action by Washington against Moscow will not go unanswered.
Countermeasures
In early September 2024, the US Treasury Department announced information about the introduction of sanctions against a number of Russian media outlets.
The US State Department has tightened the working conditions for some representatives of the Russian press.
According to US law, Russian media outlets will now be required to send the American side information about their press personnel working in the US and their property.
In addition, Washington has imposed some visa restrictions on Russian journalists.
