The Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service for Moscow has released information that an electric scooter was confiscated in the capital for the first time.
It is emphasized that the confiscation of the vehicle was carried out due to drunk driving and hitting a pedestrian.
The corresponding court decision states: "The scooter was driven by a student designer. He hit an elderly woman," as reported by TASS .

It is indicated that this offense is repeated.
The court's verdict
The court emphasized: “Guided by Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the authorized bodies seized the vehicle.”
A person guilty of committing a crime is deprived of the right to “engage in activities related to the management of a vehicle.”
This ban will remain in effect for the next eighteen months.
In addition, the court noted that the defendant in the crime refused to appear before the bailiff without good reason.
