In the fall, Moscow will launch updated swimming pools. The details are reported on the official website of the Moscow mayor.
It is noted that the specified swimming pools are the Moscow City Physical Culture and Sports Association, and the Maryino and Moskvorechye sports complexes.
A lot of work is being done in the pools, including improving ventilation and replacing water treatment systems.
In addition, much attention was paid to people with disabilities. Lifts and ramps are being created for them.
According to the website, thanks to the work, the spaces will be comfortable and safe.
It was also noted that the improved pools will have new showers, changing rooms, recreation areas, and rooms for trainers.
In 2025–2026, they plan to build a kindergarten and a school with swimming pools. The future facilities will be located in the Moskovsky settlement of the Kommunarka district and the settlement of the Mosrentgen Plant of the Kommunarka district.
