Aliyev noted that in 2022, EU observers were allowed to be present at the border.

The permit was valid for two months.

The mission was subsequently extended without coordination with Baku.

In addition, the number of European observers has increased to 200 people.

Now the work continues and this activity no longer resembles a mission of European observers, Aliyev stated.

According to him, it smoothly transitioned into a full-fledged NATO mission, as Canada joined the work.

On the Armenian side, the infrastructure of the North Atlantic Alliance has been created, the President of Azerbaijan stated.

This is happening against the backdrop of Armenia’s statements regarding the country’s participation in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

Yerevan has hinted that it plans to leave the CSTO. At the same time, the country has begun to establish contacts with the EU and NATO.
