Armenia did not join the Council of Europe's anti-Russian declaration

It has become known which country did not sign the declaration against Russia adopted by the Council of Europe.

Armenia did not support this decision of Europe.

This was reported by the Armenpress agency, which referred to a statement made by the head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

According to the publication, we are talking about a document that is dedicated to the investigation of the so-called “aggression” against Ukraine.

The declaration was adopted during an informal conference after Ukraine ratified the Rome Statute of the International Court.

This document was signed by more than 40 countries. The signatories of the declaration include the Baltic countries, Moldova and Georgia.

It is noted that earlier there was information that Yerevan had signed the Declaration, but then withdrew it.

As emphasized in the information of Armenpress, the agency sent a corresponding request to the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ani Badalyan. The official representative of the department emphasized that Armenia did not initially join the Declaration.
