Armenia says it is ready to cooperate with the court that issued a warrant for Putin's "arrest"

The head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry made a statement about Yerevan’s cooperation with the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Ararat Mirzoyan reported that the republic is ready to cooperate with the international organization that previously issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin.

The Armenian minister spoke on this topic on Monday, December 2, during a meeting with ICC President Tosoko Akane in The Hague (Netherlands), the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

During the negotiations, Mirzoyan emphasized that Yerevan is determined to make efforts aimed at complying with international legal norms.

The diplomat and the head of the ICC discussed issues related to the interaction between the court and Armenia.

The interlocutors agreed that independent judicial mechanisms are important in the context of responding to global crises.
