Borrell did not abandon his position on the use of Western weapons for strikes deep into Russia.

Moreover, he singled out targets for these strikes. The official called for striking airports and launch pads located in Russian regions.

In his opinion, it is necessary to shoot down not only the “arrows” (rockets), but also attack the “archers”.

Borrell, 77, will leave office on November 30. He will be replaced by Kaja Kallas, who previously served as Estonia's prime minister.

The Baltic country has announced plans to create its own long-range missiles.

Tallinn intends to establish production of missiles that are capable of striking at a distance of 300–500 km and reaching speeds of up to 800 km/h.

However, it is not specified how much time Estonia will need to create this weapon.

The country's authorities claim that there are two or three companies that have already achieved significant success in this direction.
