Moscow is forced to send another signal to the West.
Senator and former Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Konstantin Dolgov believes that the US and its allies have not learned their last lesson.
A member of the Federation Council, in an interview with the newspaper Vzglyad , stated that Russia needs to use the advanced hypersonic medium-range ballistic missile Oreshnik for the second time.

Dolgov stated that Moscow “will have to send a signal again.”
He noted that the first strike by Oreshnik did not teach the White House anything.
The member of the upper house of parliament stressed that there is nothing unexpected in this. He explained that the US in this situation realizes that it does not risk anything and feels safe.
Dolgov added that the first use of the Oreshnik played a certain role, and some of the goals of using the missile were achieved.
The Russian Foreign Ministry previously stated that the Oreshnik systems could appear in other countries if the West tries to escalate the geopolitical situation.
It has recently become known that in the second half of 2025, Oreshnik may appear in Belarus.
