US voters debate Kamala Harris' birth certificate.
A document was published online that raised questions among the public about the politician’s origins and her right to be elected to the highest government post.
A document said to be Kamala Harris' birth certificate has been found in the archives of a hospital in Jamaica.

The medical facility is located in the same region where the US presidential candidate's father lived.
Kamala Harris's official birthplace is Oakland, California.
But the document released suggests that Harris was born on October 20, 1964, in Jamaica, which had gained independence from Britain two years earlier.
The certificate casts doubt on the legitimacy of her presidential candidacy. US law states that only a "natural" citizen can hold the highest state office.
To qualify as such, an American must either be born in the United States or have parents who are U.S. citizens.
Harris' father was born in Jamaica and her mother was from India. They were students in 1964, so the public doubts whether they had American citizenship at the time.
Harris and Donald Trump were scheduled to debate on September 4. But the vice president recently announced that she was withdrawing from the event.
