Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban addressed the President of the European Council after his visit to Russia.
In his letter to Charles Michel, he explained that he had not put forward any proposals on behalf of the EU.

Orban said that during the meeting with the Russian leader he did not put forward proposals or speak on behalf of the EU.
The Hungarian Prime Minister responded in this way to the statement by the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, that Orban does not have the authority to negotiate with Moscow on behalf of the EU.
Orban confirmed in a letter that the claims against him were “unfounded.”
