The US believes that this is a direct threat to national security.

This statement was made at a special briefing by Rada Plum, who holds the position of chief specialist of the US military department for digital technologies and artificial intelligence.

As RIA Novosti reports, the officer’s statement mentioned not only Russia, but also other countries that the US considers its competitors.

In particular, Washington is concerned about Iraq, North Korea and China, which are developing artificial intelligence.

It is noteworthy that Plum's speech took place during Vladimir Putin's speech at an international conference on artificial intelligence.

During the event, the head of state spoke about the successes that Russia has achieved in the development of artificial intelligence and emphasized the importance of these technologies in strengthening the country's defense capability.
