Donald Trump has issued an ultimatum to the European Union.
The newly elected American president threatened the union with tariffs if they did not fulfill one condition he had put forward.
The American politician made this statement in a new publication on his own social network Truth Social.

According to Donald Trump, there is now a "massive deficit" in relations between Washington and Brussels. And nothing less than a significant increase in purchases of American oil and gas can fill it.
If this does not happen, Trump threatened the European Union with the introduction of permanent tariffs from the United States.
It is noted that the future head of the White House has repeatedly spoken about the possible introduction of 10-20% duties on friendly countries.
The EU does not rule out that such a step on the part of Washington will ultimately lead to a trade war between the union and the US, and, as Brussels believes, this confrontation will not be beneficial to anyone.
