The US Treasury Department has expanded sanctions against individuals and legal entities associated with Russia and the DPRK.
The US restrictive measures affected 11 citizens of the DPRK, as well as 8 companies from Russia and North Korea.
The US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control announced on Monday, December 16, that sanctions had been expanded.

The blacklisted DPRK individuals and eight entities are subject to secondary sanctions.
Inclusion on the restricted list means that Americans and US companies are prohibited from doing business with these individuals and companies.
The US Treasury Department's sanctions list includes DV Inc. LLC, Vostok Trading LLC, Novosibirskoblgaz LLC, and Sibregiongaz CJSC.
The US also imposed sanctions on North Korean banks Golden Triangle and Korea Mandal Credit.
