Evil people can only be happy sometimes.
Their condition depends largely on other people’s sadness and problems.
Evil people love to make life difficult for others, knowing how much joy it brings them.
Therefore, such people can actually be happy from the pleasure they get from watching others suffer.
However, their happiness is dependent, and therefore it is fleeting. So, basically, evil people only look happy at first glance.
Only virtuous people who possess courage, moderation and justice can be happy.
The virtuous life is most often rational, social, modest, intelligent and effective.
A wicked life consists of mistakes, including greed, pride, vindictiveness, unforgiveness, cowardice and lies.
A wicked life is most often unhappy, even though a wicked person may have wealth and power.
