This method of manipulation gradually makes the victim doubt his perception of reality. As a result, the person becomes a shadow of the manipulator, completely dependent on him.
The victim's self-esteem drops to zero, and therefore she tries to please the manipulative partner in everything.
Lovebombing
Another method of manipulation is to shower the victim with gifts, compliments and declarations of love.
Many people lose their heads from such attention and forget to think critically, which allows the manipulator to quickly subjugate the victim.
Triangulation
Manipulators often resort to involving a third person in the conflict. From the outside, this looks like pitting the victim against other people.
In this case, the manipulator controls his loved ones like puppets, ensuring that the victim is again under his control.
