An expert has revealed the origins of many people's disgust at their own recorded voice.
Psychologist Yulia Yakovleva explained that the problem lies in the peculiarities of how the brain works.
The expert spoke about the nature of this phenomenon in an interview with the publication “ Doctor Peter ”.

Some people, hearing their own voice in a recording, feel the presence of a certain “childishness or infantilism” in it, Yakovleva noted.
Because of this, they don't like to record voice messages or talk while recording videos.
The psychologist explained that a person hears himself not only from the outside, but also “to a large extent from the inside.”
In the second case, the bones of the skull, tissues and body fluids change the sound and add (most often) low overtones to it.
Yakovleva noted that because of this, many people fall into a trap and lose confidence; they begin to feel that they do not sound very confident.
But in reality, with such a voice, those around you perceive the speaker as an adult.
