There are moments in people's lives that make them stop and think: have they chosen the right path in life?

What will happen to them in ten years and is there any instructions anywhere to live happily?

Some people find answers to these questions, while others never find happiness throughout their entire lives...

So what is it that makes people feel happy?

In 1938, scientists launched a research project that followed the lives of 724 men. The participants were divided into wealthy groups (mostly Harvard students) and poor groups from the Boston suburbs.

As a result of the study, men who were at the very bottom of the social ladder could reach great heights, some even became US presidents. And representatives of the upper class, sometimes, fell far down, becoming alcoholics. And as a result, after 75 years of research, it turned out that happiness depends only on good relations with people around you.

The principles on which happiness depends

There are a number of principles that happy people follow in their life journey.

Here are a few that everyone might want to remember:
1. Success depends only on a person’s attitude towards himself; if someone has taken the position that he is successful and the best in everything, then it will be so.

All thoughts that something might not work out, not work out, and generally go through a certain place, should be crossed out of your life forever. This only contributes to a bad mood and self-flagellation and eventually becomes almost the meaning of life. Low and high self-esteem is always the merit of the people who have it.

2. Accepting yourself is the most important thing that every person should do. The one who accepts himself respects his desires and his choices, works to become better, and yes, success always awaits him.

3. Sympathy for people around you is also an important skill. New acquaintances are always new impressions. It is important not to be afraid to meet people, even if it is very difficult.

Nothing comes from nowhere. Communication is the same skill that is developed with practice. It is advisable to cut off possible negative assessments of others and concentrate on their good sides.

4. Be grateful. To everyone. Friends, colleagues, parents, loved ones. Feel gratitude even for small things. You can even start a gratitude journal to write down your gratitude to people and experiences.

There is always a reason for gratitude, the main thing is to look at it from the right angle.

5. In relationships with other people, it is important to do everything on time, when someone asked you to, and not to wait until the last moment or remember the request when it is no longer needed.

Another important point is reliability. When a person is sure that he will definitely be heard here, he will be helped, and will not be judged. It is important for people to learn to apply these skills not only to others, but also to themselves.

6. Everyone should be attentive to the actions of others, as well as to their own. No one should demand from another what they cannot give themselves. Every relationship is first and foremost about "giving."

The more you give, the more you get back, because every relationship, no matter what it is, needs energy to fuel it. Otherwise, it will exhaust itself.

7. Tell the truth. To be truthful means to find harmony with the world around you. No one can be convinced of the sincerity of feelings when there are none.

8. Listen only to good news. Many people complain about their children, husbands, relatives, health, etc. Such conversations should be cut off. Either by turning them into another, more positive channel, or by completely cutting off people who are constantly dissatisfied with their lives and refuse to change anything.

9. Patience and persistence. Nothing will come running into your hands right away. Every skill, ability or achievement is daily work.

By following these 9 principles, everyone can experience happiness. The main thing is not to forget that happiness is here, always nearby and in this moment. Learning to feel happy now means feeling happy always.

Earlier we talked about how to understand that a man is indifferent to a woman .
