Experts have predicted the imminent disappearance of a certain type of PC from the technology market.
We are talking about computers that are not equipped with advanced AI technologies.
This was reported by The Register , which cites a study conducted by Gartner.
Experts from the consulting company Gartner analyzed sales of computing equipment in the world. This allowed them to conclude that in just 2 years, regular PCs will no longer be in demand.
For example, by the end of the current year, about 43% of computer sales will be models equipped with artificial intelligence technologies. Compared to the results obtained a year earlier, this figure has grown by 99.8%.
By 2025, the number of PCs with built-in AI technologies will exceed 114 million.
It is noted that such demand will inevitably lead to the fact that conventional computers will become irrelevant. Experts predict that by 2026 they may almost completely disappear from the market.
