People respond better to compliments spoken into their left ear.

Scientists from Switzerland have found that positive remarks spoken into the left ear are perceived by a person better.

The sounds of voices thus more quickly activate the auditory cortex of the brain in the right hemisphere, which is responsible for emotions, reports the journal Frontiers in Neuroscience .

Compliments coming from the left will cause a positive reaction and will help you quickly please your interlocutor.

The scientists found the greatest activation in the primary auditory cortex when participants heard pleasant words coming from the left side.

According to the researchers, the reason for this pattern is still unknown.

It also requires confirmation that left-handed people are most receptive to compliments through the right ear.

Future research will be devoted to finding this answer.
