Popular South Korean brands' technology caught spying on users.
Experts have described how exactly TVs from Samsung and LG can spy on users.
According to NewScientist , TVs take screenshots of their screens.

This happens after an antenna or HDMI cable is connected to the equipment.
Experts have found that some Samsung models take screenshots every 500 milliseconds, while LG models take screenshots every 10 milliseconds.
They do this to collect information that helps them deliver more accurate advertising, the publication notes.
Recording does not occur when online cinema applications are running.
At the same time, the authors of the study point out that the technology is capable of taking screenshots at the moment when private information that the user would not like to share may appear on the screen.
You can turn off tracking, but there is no universal way. Each model has its own instructions.
