"Pseudoscience": RAS has made a clear statement about Kashpirovsky

The Russian Academy has unequivocally characterized Anatoly Kashpirovsky’s methods as absolute pseudoscience.

This statement was made in response to the resumption of its activities .

Anatoly Kashpirovsky became famous in the 1990s thanks to the TV show “Health Sessions of a Psychotherapist,” RIA Novosti writes.

He claimed that he could hypnotize and heal people from illnesses.

In his television broadcasts, Kashpirovsky held sessions in which he charged water.

Academy representatives emphasized that Kashpirovsky's methods have no scientific basis.

This is absolute pseudoscience. There can be no two opinions on this, the Russian Academy of Sciences stated .

Kashpirovsky also demanded that Doctor of Science and psycholinguist Tatyana Chernigovskaya pay him 15 thousand dollars.

This requirement was due to the fact that Chernigovskaya does not recognize his work as scientific.

The Russian Academy of Sciences also confirmed that Kashpirovsky's methods have no scientific basis and are considered pseudoscience.
