Roskomnadzor recalled that since 2020, the video hosting service has introduced restrictions on 207 domestic resources.

In 2024, 83 of them were blocked.

Roskomnadzor sent a corresponding request to the head of Google LLC, Sundar Pichai.

According to the Russian agency, the restrictive measures violate the main principles of dissemination of information.

Roskomnadzor stated that the blocking of Russian accounts is comparable to an act of censorship on YouTube.
