Owners of Apple gadgets have come under the scammers' sights.
The details were revealed in the Telegram channel “Russian Cyberpolice Herald”.
Interior Ministry specialists have warned that hackers have begun to break into citizens' iPhones, promising to help them return applications removed from the App Store.

Cybercriminals guarantee the installation of applications that Russians cannot download from trusted sources.
For example, victims are promised that their banking app or TikTok will be returned to their phone.
Russians are asked to log into the attacker's Apple ID and enter their data.
Then the smartphone is blocked. The scammers promise to unblock it, but in return they demand a large sum of money.
The agency's representatives emphasized that in this case, only their own vigilance will protect Russians.
To avoid problems and blackmail, experts recommend that iPhone users do not log into someone else's iCloud.
