Honored Artist of the RSFSR Svetlana Svetlichnaya died at the age of 85.
The tragic news was reported by film critic Susanna Alperina on her Telegram channel.
She wrote: "Svetlana Svetlichnaya is gone. The first beauty of the USSR."
The actress's daughter-in-law Olga Kalimbet (Ivashova) confirmed the information about the actress's death.
Svetlichnaya died at the age of 84 after a serious and prolonged illness.
In recent years, the legendary actress's condition has been extremely grave.
