After surgeons opened up the star's knee, it turned out that Asmus had been injured more seriously than expected. Doctors discovered that she had also torn her meniscus.
Doctors had to take material from the actress's second leg to successfully complete the four-hour operation.
Asmus complained that she was experiencing severe pain after the effects of the anesthesia wore off and urged no one to break anything.
