People's Artist of Russia Philipp Kirkorov commented on his victory in court against Lyubov Uspenskaya.
He sued the singer for 280 thousand rubles for words from an interview in which she called him a “misogynist.”
Kirkorov thanked lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky for his victory in court over his colleague.

He addressed the singer Uspenka in a message posted online.
“The lawsuit was conceived as a reminder to people that they must answer for their words and actions,” Kirkorov recalled.
The singer did not hide the fact that the amount of the fine turned out to be much less than previously stated.
Kirkorov will donate the 280 thousand rubles he received to charity.
According to the singer, happiness should not be valued in money when reputation is more important.
Kirkorov stated that he achieved something important in this story – justice.
The singer believes that Uspenskaya’s idea may have been inspired by Russian classical literature: “Oh, Lyuba is strong, since she talks nonsense about the king.”
Kirkorov added that Uspenka will have to apologize as a subject.
